Creamy blues tone
By blackwingchai onThe Boss Bd-2 blues driver pedal, can deliver a good tone from clean to crunch and smooth overdrive, features volume level control, tone control and gain. Standard boss interface and profile, sturdy and compact. What i like about this pedal is its creamy tone, it can give you the vintage tube or valve amp tone, preetty close enough i might say, the effect might be subtle, turn up your guitar volume to hear the diffrence, mine was a stock version, they say the keeley mod of bd-2 is incredible pedal, but the diffrence were also sublte so stock is not that bad, i prefer the crunch and clean settings of it, the more gain setting isnt smooth enough for me, or not so creamy enough, and you can hear a mild chorus in this setting, I probably combine it with boss FBM-1 fender bassman pedal, for clean, and Bd-2 as a dirt when i need a crunch, and a Ds-1 distortion for more distorted tone, then a delay or a reverb. Or better combine it with a sansamp bloned pedal. for richer creamy tone. but all in all it is a good pedal, worth buying for. Good for blues, southern rock, and can be also good for metal if you know how to tweak it right.
