In the 1980s on my first trip to South Africa, I waited in the international Swiss airport for my next flight. It was there that I had my first taste of real Swiss chocolate. I was dazzled. The chocolate bars that I had eaten up to this time were nothing. I just cannot describe the delight I felt in eating real chocolate.

Luckily, I could indulge my chocolate senses in South Africa, but when I came home the chocolate in the stores tasted dull and uninteresting. I lost my taste in chocolate.

Well, a couple of years ago my sister-in-law introduced me to Dove's milk chocolate. It is chocolate wrapped in blue wrappers. Inside the wrapper are little sayings like "Smile. People will wonder what you are up to."

When I unwrap the wrapper and pop the chocolate in my mouth, it melts. Yes, melts into my mouth. It has that smooth chocolaty taste that I was introduced to in Switzerland.

I can eat chocolate again.
