I needed a MP3 player for the many hours of travel my husband and I do in the car. We really enjoy audiobooks, movies and music, in that order on our trips. After trying a few different MP3 players we chose the Creative Zen Vision W. I found the audio much better than others. The headphones were o.k. but the sound was even better with a better quality headphone. Another advantage I liked was that you didn't need headphones it had a small speaker. The picture screen size of 4.3 in. was another great advantage because I liked to watch movies. The video quality is excellent it was crisp and clear with beautiful color. It allows more movie formats than any other I compared it to, which means fewer restrictions. It easily gets books from audible.com and has over 10 bookmarks for the audiosection which is important for those who enjoy audiobooks. The capicity is more than enough for us to have a couple of movies, all our songs and about 4 or 5 books and there is still room. The official description boasts 120 hours of video or 15,000 songs. The battery life was about 13 hours for a audio and about 4.5 for video. I really liked that it came with a USB and power adaptor cable (it seemed many do not come with wall power plug which stores seem to charge $20 for) and it charges in 3 hours. Another great advantage to me was I could download the pictures from my memory card. While we were on vacation I didn't need to buy a new memory card I just downloaded to Zen W. It's a great MP3, it's made well and it's sturdy and very easy to use. The only disadvanage found is the bulky size. Hard to run or workout with it.
