Creative Scentsations Lavender Jojoba Lotion By GlenT on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I'm one of those people who toss and turn before falling asleep. Too many people had said "Lavender" for me to ignore it, so I tried a number of different products to get its relaxing results. I tried dried lavender leaves in the zippered pillow cover, essential oils, potpourri, you name it. If it didn't make me sneeze, it clogged up my sinuses, and I thought I was not going to find anything that worked.
At a discount beauty supply store I was waiting for the clerk to dig up something for me, and I noticed a "tester" of Creative Scentsations Hand and Body Lotion. So I tested it on my forearm. I noticed in a couple of minutes I was sniffing my arm like it was some flower or something, regularly and with great pleasure. It didn't feel nasty or start to stink after just a few minutes like most things do on my skin.
So I got a dispenser bottle and tried it that night. Just a little squirt rubbed into my chest, and I smelled Lavender; pure, clean lavender. I drifted off like a baby. Over the next week I noticed that it didn't stain my pillows or sheets ( like the essential oils and dried lavender did ) and I was falling to sleep more quickly than I had for years.
If you like the scent at the tester, this product is a really good bargain, retains its scent for a good while, and doesn't seem to stain or stick anywhere you don't want it. It certainly earned my "trusted product" rating. I hope it works for you.
