Creative Sound Blaster

Just recently my sound went dead on my home desktop and I was able to find out that the sound card blew out. This obviously meant that I needed to replace it. Since I believe that true sound quality is mainly from the quality of the speaker system, rather than the sound card, I didn't want to break the bank buying the replacement. This led me to buy the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi.

First off the name sounds cool which caught my eye, second I recognized the brand, and third the price was very reasonable. I researched on this product and found that people were generally satisfied which led me to buy the product. I can say that I've been very pleased as the sound quality is superb. The output seems to be much stronger compared to the stock sound card that was originally in my desktop and I haven't had a problem with it (owned it for about 4 months now). If you are looking for a brand name sound card that won't break the bank, you can't go wrong with this one.
