Crescent Trail By Ally on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

While driving down Route 250 in Fairport, Ny I came accross a small parking lot that was marked with a sign for "Crescent Trail". My dog by my side I decided to check it out. It was so beautiful. There are a few "Crescent trails" here on the east side most run into eachother. I liked that this trail was heavily wooded and clearly marked for each of the trails that branched off of it.

This trail is frequented by many deer, squirrell, birds and chipmunks. My dog has also made alot of friends on this trail, as I've come to find out it's pretty popular with our k-9 friends. I usually take the tril marked with the white rectangles. It's a good hike. Although I've never really measured it, I would guess from start to finish and back to the starting point again it's about a mile.

I have also seen mountain bikers on the trails here. It is just a pleasing walk, hike or ride for anyone who checks it out. I just feal at peace while I am on this quiet trail. My dog loves this trail that if we dare drive past it without stopping for him to play there he will howl and whine until we do. He gives it 2 paws up!
