Crest Fluoride Toothpaste For Kid's Teeth By dsnygrl on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

It has always been a struggle to get my son to brush his teeth. He also refuses to use any brand of adult toothpaste because he hates the tastes they come in and no matter what flovor they are, he says it burns. We have tried many of the kid's toothpastes on the market but his favorite is Kid's Crest.

This toothpaste has a sparkle fun flavor which is a blue gel that has what looks like glitter inside and tastes like bubble gum. What I like about this toothpaste is that it comes in a regular size, old fashioned tube unlike some kid's toothpastes that come in a pump type bottle and others that come in an oversized tube with cartoon characters on them. Been there, done that on both counts and I can't stand them. The pumps are messy and sometimes leak out and he manages to get more on the counter than on his toothbrush. The larger tubes are really hard for his small hand to squeeze so we always have to help him plus you can't roll them up like a regular tube to get all of it out so a bunch goes to waste.

Kid's Crest is a fluoride anti cavity toothpaste and is formulated to be gentle on tooth enamel. It is certified by the American Dental Association and contains no sugar. It is one of the few toothpastes that my son actually likes and he uses it without complaining so that makes me happy. He has had perfect dental check ups so fardespite how much junk food and candy he eats so I have to think this toothpaste has had something to do with that.

LOL, DS hates regular toothpaste too. He claims its spicy! He does like this one though.

I remember when they first came out with bubble gum flavored toothpaste. We bugged my mom for a long time before she consented to buy it. Let me tell you, I hated it. It was way too sweet and I felt like my teeth and mouth weren't clean. I went back to regular toothpaste. But I am sure they've come a long way now since then. Glad kids are liking it and brushing.

Oh, and we didn't have sparkles back then either. Makes you wonder what our kids will be facing when they are parents one day. :)
