Crest Whitening Rinse By Kristyh By kristyh on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This Crest Whitening Rinse really does whiten teeth! I noticed an improvement just after using it one time. The mouthwash tastes like, "fresh mint". It does taste minty but a little overbearing. It whitens my teeth nicely but kind of tingles/slightly burns my tongue. It is more uncomfortable than painful so I overlook this uncomfort though because my teeth look so much whiter after using it. The mouthwash is supposed to whiten teeth, protect against stains, and kill bad breath germs. I notice it does make my breath fresh and it definately whitens. I bought this at Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market for $5.98 for 946ML. One bottle will last me and my husband about 2 weeks, using twice a day. I hated spending that much just for mouthwash, but I did try the generic version and it did NOT work at all. I have not noticed any side effects other than the tingling/burning of my tongue while I am using it. My husband did drop down to using it only once a day because he said it made his gums sensitive.

I wanted to try this mainly because I hear it doesn't burn and that alcohol based rinses may lead to oral cancer or something.

I have tried the Whithening Rinse from Listerine and it tasted so yucky that I wanted to throw up. Hope this one doesn't taste terrible. I want to try this, hope I can find it here at Coles. Good review. Thanks for sharing.
