Crestline Two Panel Sliding Patio Door By Lorianna on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

We have two of these Crestline two-panel sliding patio doors in our house - one in the living room, leading to the deck and back yard, and the other one in the kitchen / dining room, leading to the side deck. The design we chose is similar to that of our windows, also by Crestline: wood on the inside and vinyl on the outside for low maintenance.

The patio doors look neat and stylish. They open and close with ease, requiring very little physical effort. I like the convenient thumb-turn lock near the door handle. The glass is said to be shatter-proof, which I have not tested and would not want to. The glass is EasyCare glazed, which is very easy to clean, and it stays clean longer. We never have any problems with drafts; when the door is shut, it is shut tight. The patio doors are also energy efficient, which our electricity bill proves each month.
