Cricket is a budget cell phone provider for single people. They don't have any family plans, so if you need a phone for you and your husband and/or kid, it cost just as much if not more than other service providers. There plans are from $30 to $60. I had the $30 plan when I was single and it was decent for the price. The only thing I complained about was the coverage. I had a lot of areas with low signal and dropped calls. When I got married, though, we could both get our own phone for $70 through the family talk plan that other providers offered. This included better coverage, more options, and an overall better plan. So, if you are just looking for a phone you'll occasionally use for the whole family and are in a good coverage area (check their map), then this may be a good provider for you. It just depends.
