Crocheting For Dummies

This is yet another book in the " Get Smart" series. I have always known how to do the one thing in crocheting, a single hook, or should I say did?

This book teaches you the easy and fun way to make things like afghans, scarves, sweaters and more! It is full of simple, yet detailed illustrations that show you step by step, exactly whatto do and how it should look.

They write in easy to understand words and show you the simple things like tagging tassels and tying fringe to shaping your designs by increasing your spaces and blocks. It also shows you how to read the patterns, I know the first time I looked at a pattern I was like, what the heck have I gotten myself into ?!?!

I am not up to anything too big yet, but I have made several hats and baby afghans. This is another book I highly recommend to everyone who has an interest in crafts, even if you have never picked up a crochet hook or have been crocheting for years, this book is full of all sorts of useful information.
