Crock Indoor Electric Grill By J Montano on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I've had this electric indoor grill from Crock for a few years now. I got it before the George Foreman became popular. For the most part, I really like it. The only thing I don't like about it is the clean up. It can be brutal! What it is is an oval ceramic base. There is a metal drip pan that sits down in the base, a burner element and a grill across the top. The drip pan and the grill are the hardest to clean and the dishwasher doesn't get them clean. They must be washed by hand. I have really good results with meat on this grill. I have found that the fat drips down into the pan, so you can really cut out the fat, which is awesome. Also, it helps to cover your meat with a piece of foil. It really speeds up the cooking time. Especially when grilling chicken.
