You know when someone's wearing those super bright colored plastic looking clogs, and you can't help but giggle quietly to yourself? You've never tried them. . . you are one of uninitiated.

Crocs have quietly become one of the most fun shoe phenomenons since "jellies" were popular in the eighties. Crocs used to just be big clunky beach shoes, super comfortable foam shoes that keep their traction when wet, and keep your feet happy no matter how long the hours you wear them. Recently, Crocs started to offer more shoe options than simply the "beach" style shoes. They now offer flip flops in many variations and color combinations, they offer closed-toed shoes and puddle boots, they even offer feminine shoes called the Mary Jane. My boyfriend used to wear his navy blue "beach" shoes under his jeans, and get very few looks. Wearing my bright yellow "beach" crocs got quite a bit more attention. . . so I leapt at the chance to buy more demure, less wide, less high profile black mary janes made with the same comfy croc material. They're cute, they're comfy, and they last forever.
