The Crosman Storm XT rifle is great for cans and even small game in the backyard. The metal break barrel and wood stock present an authentic and high quality rifle.
I must say that although the first Storm XT I purchased from Walmart did have to be returned due to the break barrel breaking (for lack of a better term) the second one I recieved is a solid and accurate rifle.
The Crosman Storm XT comes with a 4x scope that is mounted using a 3/8ths dovetail mount. The scope is one of high quality, having both windage and elevation knobs that are easy to adjust. Pressure on the trigger is in my opinion the perfect tension, and the safety not only blocks you from pulling the trigger, it completely disables the trigger mechanism.
Without the aid of the scope, I was able to hit a standard plastic coke bottle from about 100 feet away. I then proceeded to mount the scope and zero it in at 50 feet. After being zeroed in, the scope is still accurate at 100- 150 feet.

Soundsa like a good solid rifle for the money. Nothing fancy, but hey! It does what it is supposed to, and does it well.
Just be careful when out in the yard with this rifle.
