I received this watch for Father's Day this year and it's really special to me. I don't put a lot of stock in jewelry and don't need my watch to do anything fancy but tell the correct time. This is honestly a luxury that I never would have bought for myself, but it was an excellent gift. The watch looks great. The band is silver with gold inlay and the face is very intricate with gold and silver as well. At the twelve o'clock position is a large window that tells you the day and at the eleven o'clock position is a smaller window that tells the date. The coolest feature of this watch is it has a Japanese automatic movement so it never needs batteries as long as you move it every so often. I also purchased a separate watch winder which is a box that rotates the watch every few seconds to make sure the time remains accurate while you're not wearing it. I love my Croton watch, but it is very pricey and would probably never buy it for myself. It makes an incredible gift for someone you love, though.
