This movie is the reason I bought a dvd player so long ago, this is an incredible movie! Michelle Yoah, Chow Yun-Fat were just astounding! They didn't even need to talk to convey emotion, dialog, perfect chemistry between 2 actors. AngLee certainly hit it out of the park!

The special effects, the one everyone else tries to be but still can't quite master, this film set a very high bar! My heart just breaks for them throughout this movie! Honestly, didn't much care for the second storyline, i didn't like the young man at all but the girl was good; but the best scenes are when she, Michelle Yoah or Chow Yun-Fat are playng Opposite each other.

But the scenery and the music just is powerful! Yo Yo Ma worked his majic with his cello, just hearing it in my head as I am thinking of this movie just brings it all back to me. I think I need to go watch it again right now!
