Crysis - crysis review

The story in this game is so awesome and as you probably already know the graphics are next-gen. The best computer you could possibly make wont even run this game on highest settings, highest res, at 60 fps. It is a taste of what the next-gen games will look like. The engine is the best, kudos to Crytek. The shadows, volumetric clouds, the environment, textures, everything is perfect if you are running it on highest settings. The game comes with an editor, so you can make your own maps and what is better than making your own maps with the best graphics engine on the planet? Nothing! Lol, I have to say that everyone makes a big deal about how this game only plays on the best of the best computers. Old computers can play it on low and medium! My friends crappy laptop plays it on low settings and i have to say his laptop really sucks! I have some good news tho, even if you play the game on all medium settings, it is STILL the best looking game ever. I have to say it looks even better than COD 4 on its highest graphics when Crysis is only running on Medium. Also, Crysis has a special sort of blending technique where it makes the game look like your running it at a higher fps but u really aren't. I was playing it at about 18 fps and it looked like 40 the whole time! I found a forum online and this was happening for everyone they would guess the framerate and way over guess. So, if you're running it at slow fps it still can look good. I have to say this game is really photorealistic and just playing it and observing everything is like a dream come true. Its the graphics i've been wishing for forever!
