I purhcase the The Samsung - 40" 1080p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV, Model #LN40A550 about a month ago, and so far it has been nothing but an orgasm on a TV stand.
The picture quality that comes from this particular HDTV is gorgeous, real life does not even look this good. When hooked up to a blu-ray player, you truly are experincing an HDTV the way they were meant to be experinced.
The 40 inch model is also the perfect size for our bedroom, and would be an excellent size for those with smaller dens, or living rooms.
The Samsung - 40" 1080p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV, Model #LN40A550 comes with 3 HDMI ports. You are truly going to want to hook this up to an HD cable box usuing an HDMI cable for best possible picture.
With 2 more available HDMI ports, we hooked our computer up to it, to use it as a monitor, and then we purchased a PS3, and hooked that up using the last and final HDMI port. You can purchase attachments to add even more HDMI ports if necessary.
Hooking everything up was a breeze, and the remote made it easy as heck to switch from one HDMI tuner to another, with flawless response.
Overall this is the best TV we have ever had in our home, and at $1,499 it was well worth the splurge.
