I recently attended a birthday party at the Crystal Palace Skating Center on Rancho Drive in Las Vegas. This spot is a great family fun location. The admission was a little more expensive than I expected, but the rink was well cared for and large.

While the rink is well cared for, the price of admission would lend one to believe the nicks and scratches in the floor could be taken care of and a little buffing would be nice too.

The Crystal Palace Skating Center is geared more toward those who already know how to skate. My younger children were novices at skating and the skates were full roll. Many skating rinks offer protectors for younger skaters so they will not be able to roll backwards. The Crystal Palace Skating Center does not offer this feature.

I loved my time at the skating rink and will go back with my family again.
