I own the Cuisinart Smart Power 6 Speed Classic Blender and bought it at Best Buy. This is a great basic blender for home kitchen use. It does everything you would want a blender to and then some. It mixes, chops, liquefies, purees, crushes ice, and more. I have even used it once to grind coffee beans when my coffee grinder wasn't working. The lid just presses on and is a nice tight fit not allowing anything to escape when mixing. It has on and off buttons and the all important for milkshake purposes, the pulse button so you don't over mix your shake. This is important because a milkshake that is over mixed is not as good. I would highly recommend this blender to anyone looking for a functional blender who doesn't want to break the bank. This is definitely a value you don't want to pass on.
