Cummins Jet Sort Money Counter $$$

Reviewing: Cummins Jet Sort 1000 Series

Back in the day.... (1980's) I used to have to count all the currency in my job by hand. Back then, I guess we were probably talking about $250,000.00 a week. And, of course, everything had to be double counted for accuracy. Wow. I can't imagine doing that anymore because I am completely spoiled by this amazing technical advancement for the busy cash office.

I am the bookkeeper for a Safeway grocery store in the Pacific Northwest. My store isn't the biggest money maker in our area, but we do a consistent $500,000.00 + per week and it's my job to count all that money. Naturally, it's not all cash, but, beleive me, there is plenty! So I just take a huge pile to get ready for my deposit, and I just set it in the hopper and press a button, and voila!, it counts all that beautiful money for me. AND it is 100% accurate! This handy dandy machine makes me look good!

If your business is a cash business and you find your bookkeeper is making errors, or that you just don't have enough time to be counting all that cash, the Cummins Jet Scan would be a really good investment for you.

Wow. I guess I wouldn't want to (couldn't?) count all that cash by hand!

That sounds like a lot of change! I'm glad you've found something that helps you save time and look good while you're doing it!

I had to laugh at your "back in the day" comment. The last time I worked in retail I clearly remember counting and re-counting the money, like you said. It was in the early 80s but seems like maybe 10 years ago. I can't imagine having a machine that helps do that now. Technology is a wonderful thing!
