Reviewing: Curad Basic Care Extra Large Bandages
Purchased at: Walmart     Price: $1.00 USD

I had first tried Curad Basic Care extra large bandages when I'd injured my arm, and the wound needed a bigger bandage. Curad offered large ones (3 3/4 x 2 inches) cheaper than most other brands. The bandages are sealed in individual paper wraps, easily removed. Each one has a special non-stick pad in the middle, to keep the bandage from sticking to the wound as the wound dries up (one of my biggest fears as a child).

When applied, the bandage stays on pretty well; however, it is not waterproof. If you get water on it, even just a little, it will start coming off. I wore mine close to my wrist, so keeping it dry was not easy. I tried to be careful washing my hands or doing dishes, yet one tiny drop would be enough to make the bandage peel off. That was a bit frustrating. Still, Curad extra large worked well enough. I now keep some in our first aid kit.
