Curad Comfort Fabric Xl Bandages By Sparkle333 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Lately it seems that I have had more than my share of cuts and scrapes. I found that a larger bandage is often more comfortable for me, depending on where the injury is. Curad XL Sterile Adhesive Bandages have been just what I needed. They fit great on the heel area if you cut yourself while shaving, and they also seem to stay on better than a smaller bandage. They are "ouchless" when it's time to remove them, and I like to buy the latex-free, as it seems that lately I have reacted adversely more to latex than I did when I was younger.
The size is 2 x 3 inches, and there are 8 XL flexible and breathable bandages in a box. The fabric is called "Comfort Fabric" and it doesn't irritate my skin. It seems to stretch when I do. The absorbency is very good, and if applied properly, the wound is sealed well on all 4 sides. It is important that you apply the bandage to clean, dry skin. You should change the bandage daily, or more often, if needed.
The bandages can be purchased at Walmart, or other discount stores or pharmacies. Curad has turned out to be my favorite bandage.
