Curio made of shells!

I bought this beautiful curio made of seashells from kanya kumari. Kanya kumari is sea side tourist destination in India. It is very famous for spectacular sunrise and sunsets.

At kanya kumari you will see lots of products made of sea shells. This one particularly captured my attention.

It is made in the shape of a pot with a plant. Plant also has flowers. It is very simple and yet is a beautiful handiwork.

I really had fun buying this one as I bargained and bargained with the shop keepers. The price they quoted was around $3 and I bought it for less than $1.

You will find lots of small shops selling these kinds of products.
