Curisve Happy Hollow Cd By Corbet on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Happy Hollow is the latest from the Indie rock band Cursive. It features 14 tracks. If you've never heard of Cursive, they were originally a typical Indie band but since their previous CD, The Ugly Organ, they added a Cello player to the band. This added whole new dimension to their songs and it was really what got me into Cursive. With their followup, the Cello player actually left the band but in her absence was a full orchestra used throughout the album. I absolutely love this CD, every song is great, but some of my favorites are, "Dorothy at 40," "Big Band," and "Bad Science." There is a word of warning though regarding this CD. It is very anti-religious and if you have strong personal feelings towards religion or God you may wanna avoid this CD altogether. Overall I'd highly recommend this CD to any Indie fan who is looking for something different.
