Purchased at: Dell

When I first got the Dellinspiron 1525, i was impressed by thelook. The media keys touch keys are not as good as tangible keys, sometimes not working. The mouse pad is awful, so i had to get a USB mouse. It has all of the ports needed, as well as 2 headphone jacks.Built in is a camera and microphone, both working relatively well.Inside i have 300GB hard drive, 3 gb ram, and 2.4intle cour duo processor, with vista. I also got the optional battery upgrade. The laptop keyboard is nice, but after a few weeks, several of the keys become sticky. This can be solved by simply popping them out (from the part facing you) and blow out and clean whatever is in the way. The sound is not good at all either, i have external speakers becuase of this.If your in a room with several other poeple, it is near impossible to hear anything coming out of your laptop. For the price, it is a great deal, the best deal i could find after months of research.

my mom has this computer, she has the same problems, but isn't very good at using computers so she doesn't ever press the media keys, and we set up a usb mouse for her, so she doesn't use the pad. The speakers can play things really loud but never with good quality.
