I purchased this adorable little stuffed moosey for my newest granddaughter. I wanted her to have something unique .......not the same old teddy bear to cling on to. She has loved it from the start. The very first day of her existance......it was next to her! Now that she is almost 7 months old.......she has found that it is very chewable ! The moose is very soft and can be machine washed. That was an important factor in making this her "lovey" or security toy. Babies chew, spit up and drag them all over so they need to be washable.......IMO !

The ears are flexible and easy for her to grab. Moosey comes with a cute green ribbon around his neck...so it's for either a boy or a girl. I would definitely recommend this for a baby gift. It's soft, cute and inexpensive. I just wish I had been able to find two of them when I bought this one. I think it's important to have at least one more as a back up ~ you know what happens when they can't find their "lovey"......crying.......and lots of tears!
