Cute Up Your First Aid Kit By BeautifulBabies on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Your first aid kit doesn't have to be so boring & drab. Get some pretty band aids to cute it up! They're not just bandages, they've now become a fashion statement. In the band aid aisle at Target, there is such a selection to choose from. There are boys & girls band aids with their favorite characters on it & also more mom & dad geared ones. Some camo print, plain colors & nude skin tones. My daughter & I took 5 minutes picking out band aids. Can you believe it? My husband told us if we don't pick one in 30 seconds he was getting the ugly ones & that was it so we had to make a decision fast! My daughter chose the Hello Kitty & our son got the Diego. Good thing our daughter didn't see the Hannah Montana ones all the way at the top because they were $1 more. My husband was like these are band aids for crying out loud. I know our generation comes from ugly plain colors but, they are now so festive & outfit oriented! The only drawback to that is for every little knick, bump & scratch, a band aid needs to be applied. Well, I guess if it keeps our kids thinking that they'll heal faster with a band aid we just have to let them.
