Cyber Acoustics Earclip Headset

I recently got a new computer that came with voice recognition software so I decided to try it and see if I could use it and give my wrists and fingers a break from typing. The only microphone I had was an uncomfortable Vansonic headset.
I went out to find a new headset and settled on a Cyber Acoustics Earclip Headset. This headset employs noise canceling technology. It curls around the ear so no more headset digging into my head or covering my ears. The headset curls around the ear and a microphone arm extends out to the mouth. This earclip headset can be worn on either ear and the microphone bends so it can be easily adjusted. Some other features include volume control and mute feature and a 7 foot cord which is very convenient. This micrphone head set also has a clip on it.
This microphone is also good for internet chats.
The only thing some people might not like is that you do have to put this microphone on and get it into place so that you can hear and be heard. This is fairly easy but might take a few minutes to get it in the right position so that you can hear through the ear piece. When I first put it on I could barely hear anything but with some adjusting I could hear the sound okay.
Overall, I like this head set because its comfortable and the microphone picks up voice easily.
I've always had the two earphone headsets and I don't know if I could get used to not having the other ear covered up. The office can be noisy and I worry about other conversations interfering with my conversation without that additional filtering. Guess if I was at home, I could use this one!

I love the voice recognition software. It is wonderful for people with mobility or other access issues. The biggest drawback is the need for quiet backgrounds. Any noise while using it bolloxes the whole thing up.
My husband can't wait to install his voice recognition software and use a headset like this. He hates writing college papers and this will help him tremendously.
