I had wanted a way to play all of the music on my computer for a long time so when I saw this product come out I went and bought it right away. Hooking it up was simple and connecting it to my network was even easier because I already had a Ethernet network cable ran to my router from the living room where this would be installed. You can connect it to your network wirelessly but I found in the past this is not always reliable.It can stream music and video, even high definition video.The music worked but the video always seemed to have trouble playing without skipping and pausing and was hard to navigate through. To play anything from your computer you have to have your PC on and running server software. It comes with software to do that but there are many other choices that work too. I found Tversity, a free program to work the best, but all of them would occasionally not want to connect.The Dlink player can also play streaming audio from internet stations and this seems to work the best and was actually pretty cool.I would not recommend this product because I now have a Sony Play Station which does all of the same things but better and is a game console and Blu-ray player too.
