When I got the dock for my lap top, everything converted to be able to use my monitor, mouse and keyboard as per normal like a regular pc. The problem that I had was that there were not enough USB connectors for all the things I needed them for. My printer, my handheld, my camera, the Blue Tooth Adapter and so many other things.
This is really NOT a router, but couldn't find a better category. It's like a power strip like you use to put more things that need plugged in only this is for anything USB that needs to be connected to your computer. I have found that the hub with its 7 USB outlets gives me the opportunity to connect any of my other electronic gadgets to the computer without having to unplug any at all. It gives me plenty of space.
I also like the fact that it's easy to connect to the computer. There's no software at all. It is immediately recognized by the computer and ready to use.

I'm just now familiarizing myself with the world of USB Flash drives. I can really see the utility in them and am going to go grab one of these. Great price and 7 USB ports cannot be beat.
I'm going to have to get something like this because there isn't room in my case for any more ports. Thanks for the info!
7 Outlets! Awesome! I think this is a great option for laptop useage!
This sounds nice. I could use one of these on my desktop. I always have to unplug things from there. I notice that now on most computers they are adding more ports but on the older ones they only have a few.

I have seen these before and they look really nice! I want to get one for myself. I think I only have 2 USB ports on the front of my computer and a couple on the back, but who wants to use the ones on the back? I like the idea that you can just plug it in and go, no software. That's great!
