Danger in the Shadows is a book about a young woman being protected by the FBI. The book centers around her trying to deal with what happened to her in her childhood and also her growing romantic interest in a man. This is not a normal romance since she is protected by the FBI and has to be very careful about remaining anonymous wherever she lives and with those she associates with. This book really did a very good job of grabbing my attention right from the beginning. But I have to say that as the book went along I lost a little interest. The story was good, but somehow the details that would have drawn a reader in were left out. I felt that the ending and how the two characters were going to deal with their romance was hurried along.

This is a good book, but not in my top 20.
