Dartmouth Campus By Apples on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Over the summer, my dad went on a business trip to Dartmouth, and we decided to come along too, to see the east coast again. So after hopping on a plane to New York, then driving a few hours to the hotel, we decided to see Dartmouth the next day. I'm applying for college in a few years, so I wanted to see the Ivy League schools, and decide if Dartmouth was a choice. So the next day, our mom drove us to the campus and took a school tour. Honestly, Dartmouth wasn't that cool, campus-wise. It's pretty old, and just a bit shabby. But the academic departments were amazing: it's Ivy League, after all. They have tons of foreign exchange programs that I may be interested in. Our tour guide was in pre-med and was planning on becoming a war surgeon. She knew what she was doing and showed us all the main spots on campus. The campus may not have been so great, but I really learned a lot about the school. So I'm definitely considering. It was a very educational visit.
