I am getting married in september and decided to look at davids bridal for my dress. when i got there i was greeted very nicely and they sat me down and looked through dresses with me. they had a pretty good se;ection, not the best but on my budget it was okay. so i find one i like it's a beutiful white pick up gown with an apple colored sash that goes around it. so i place my order and go home. when i come back to try it on again, they had the wrong sash in layaway! they said that they would fix it though and not to worry. i go home, when i come back to pick up the dress still the wrong sash! so they tell me it will take a month to get it in! my wedding is only like two months away so of course i freak out! they find one in the store which was fine by me, they go to bag my dress, and they ask me if i want to buy a garment bag for it! umm hellllooo i just paid over $550 but the dress dosent even come with a garment bag! that mad me super mad. but i guess when you get your dress on sale thats just what you get. i had one at home anyways. so all in all a good value, not the best service though.

Congratulations on your wedding! I used David's Bridal for my wedding gown & bridesmaids dresses. The first time I was in there, their customer service sucked, but the other times, they were really nice and I had a good experience and found the dress of my dreams.
David's Bridal is about the only choice in my town, but the service is better, at least as long as you're a size 10 or less. Any bigger, well, they have to special order it, etc. etc. and then the service is really awful. Sorry you had to go through this -- but congrats on your wedding! i hope it's a beautiful and memorable day!

Congratulations on the upcoming happy event...sorry you had a problem with the dress though, but they say if you have problems 'before' the wedding, the wedding itself and all else afterward will go smoothly :) Best of luck
well i would have loved to go somewhere else but thats the onely pplace around sooo... unfortunatly i had to deal with them.. i beat you they dont give any garment bags for free, which is complete bull!
No garment bag? That's just ridiculous. And I would have freaked out too if they had gotten the sash wrong twice. You would think they would be double checking everything since it's for someone's wedding!
