David's Bridal Tiara
By Kakoa onWhen I got married, I knew I wanted a tiara that was separate from the veil. I wanted to be able to remove the veil and keep the tiara on for the reception. It took a long time to find when I wanted, but this one from David's Bridal looked great.
I was a bit hesitant to get this one because of the price. It was a gift from my mom, but I still knew it was more than I thought a simple tiara should be. But after trying on a ton of them and really liking this one, my mom wanted me to have it! :-)
This tiara was perfect in size for me. I did not want a huge on that took over the look of my head, but I did not just want t headband. This was right in the middle. It comes up about an inch and a half at the peak. The other arches are just a bit shorter so you get a cascading look to the sides.
It is made of rhinestone crystals and a light metal frame. It was very light on my head the whole night. They hairdresser had no problem fitting the tiara into my hair style. She simply held it down with a few bobby pins and it held all night.

What a lovely tiara, thanks for the photo. Moms are angels, aren't they? :)
How beautiful! I'll keep this in mind in 20+ years when my daughter might be looking to get married :)
What a gorgeous tiara! I'm sure you felt very special wearing it. Glad you found the perfect one for you!
Your Mom is a sweety and understood that her daughter is a princess, that is the one day totally dedicated to you and I am glad it was beautiful!
What a great idea, I wish I had this for my wedding. A tierra is perfect for a wedding because it makes you feel even more like a princess. I had a traditional vail and had to make the choice for my reception to either leave it on or risk messing up my hair. Having a removeable vail would have saved me the trouble.
This sounds great. Just an idea : It would be a perfect something "borrowed" when your daughter (when the time is right for you to have kids) marries. What a great thing to have in your family for generations .
This is beautiful. I want my daughter to have one when she gets married. Thanks for the information, when the time comes I will check out David's.
Glad to hear it was perfect for you and a gift too!
I love the idea of wearing a tiara at your wedding. I also liked that you still wanted to wear it for the reception, minus the veil...great idea! From your picture it looks very pretty too...not too over the top. :o)
It's so great when you know what you want and you can actually find it. This is not my kind of "thing" but I have to admit that this one is quite pretty and a little out of the ordinary. Way to go!
