Although I generally do not wash dishes by hand (unless I'm forced...heh!), I had a coupon for a free bottle of Dawn Simple Pleasures, so I decided to try it out.In this incarnation of its tried and true product, Dawn now offers dishwashing liquid with separate air freshener compartments.These waterproof "freshness beads" sit in their ventilated compartment at the base of the bottle and release a nice, clean scent into your kitchen.The Apple & Pear scent is light and fresh, not at all overpowering or strong, and seems to last quite well...I have been using it for close to 3 weeks, and the scent doesn't seem to have weakened in the least.
As a dishwashing liquid, Dawn does a fantastic job on grease and cooked-on foods.In our house, it also does double duty as a cleaner for our pool accessories and the kids' outdoor toys..things you want clean without having to use harsh chemicals.Simple Pleasures is a great cleaner to have on hand.
