The Day Watch is a movie that's worth adding to your DVD collection. The plot is interesting, and continues from the 2004 movie The Night Watch. It's the forces of light against the forces of darkness, only, they've signed a truce not to wage against each other any more since no matter how many of their ranks died, no one seems to be winning.

The visual effects, fight scenes, and music are quite good. The superhuman powers of the Others are cool. It's subtitled, since the audio is in Russian, but I like it better that way since the feel of the movie is preserved.

Overall, if you enjoyed watching the Night Watch, then you'll like this one too. This movie is worth adding to your DVD collection.
