DC Shoes

We were in Toronto last week and we were shopping for back to school shoes for our teenage daughter. And let's face it teenagers are not cheap. So we told her that she had to pay half for her shoes because she wanted a fairly expensive pair.
These are a wide running shoe. The laces are the coolest. They are done to look checkered. You don't tie these shoes up as they are lose enough to slip on and as my daughter says "It is not cool to tie your laces". They have a think sole on them. They are definitely made to last. The material is thick too. I even tried these on and I can see why our daughter likes them. They are hip and cool and most of all comfortable.
It's hard being a teenager with all the fashion pressure that is in high school. These were the best looking and for the price. Needless to say they must last her the year. However I know they will as they are a good make and a solid runner.
I still remember the most expensive pair of shoes I bought for one of my children...$214...he was an only child at the time though but still. Yet, those shoes outlasted several other pairs ... I have found that spending a bit more on shoes is often well worth it...having the kids help pay for them will almost definitely ensure you'll be very proud about how your daughter keeps these. I think you'll get your money's worth from these...thanks for the info (and the flash back :)
