Dead Man Docking By Mary Daheim By Karen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Dead Man Docking is one of the bed-and-breakfast mystery books written by Mary Daheim.

In this novel, Judith McGonigle Flynn is taking some time off from running her bed-and-breakfast to go on a cruise with her cousin, Renie. She is looking forward to some relaxation, but it doesn't happen. People are dropping like flies, and they haven't even left the dock yet. Something fishy is going on, and Judith is again thrust into the midst of the chaos. Along with the assistance of her cousin, Renie, she puts on her sleuth cap and does some investigating. So much for a relaxing cruise.

Dead Man Docking was a good book. I enjoyed it more than some of the other bed-and-breakfast novels that I've read by Mary Daheim. I was kept guessing as to whodunit, and the story was told in a witty and enjoyable manner.

This novel is 325 pages long, and for anyone looking for an entertaining murder mystery, I think they would enjoy this book.
