Dead Rising is Capcom's zombie action release for the Xbox 360, and in February 2009, the Nintendo Wii.
You play as Frank West, a photojournalist who investigates a scoop in Willamette, Colorado. Frank is brought in by helicopter, and lands at the Willamette Mall.
You need to survive until the helicopter comes back for you: in 72 hours. During this time, you'll uncover the true story of how the town suffered a zombie outbreak.
You can help out by rescuing trapped survivors, eliminating doomsday cults, and snapping award-winning photographs.
You can use anything and everything as a weapon: katanas, guns, trash cans, televisions, novelty foam masks...cabbage... :)
Save those you can, kill those you must, and do whatever you see fit in order to avoid joining the undead.
