Season 1 of Deadwood introduces a gold mining town in the late 1800's.There is no law and secrets and lies fly in order to make money and get ahead.If you are sensitive to cursing, sex and violence...do NOT watch this television show.There are many side stories, but the main story surrounds the Gem Saloon owner, a former Montana sheriff, and Wild Bill Hickcock and friends.Gun fights, murder, drinking and funerals are a daily scene.The storyline develops quickly as the town tries to get annexed from the local government.It's interesting to watch because I'm sure some of the old towns were like this back in the day.If you like dramas, this is the show for you.There are 3 seasons out so far....buy them!
