Zip ties are useful for a variety of applications, and you can never have enough! Also known as cable ties, since the most common application is to secure cables. How they work is that the main body of the tie has little bumps, and the head of the tie (where you feed the body into) has a little plastic notch. As you feed it in, the plastic clicks it in tight, and keeps on doing so as you feed it in - but you cant pull it back out, which is basically how it secures wires together. Deal Extreme is known to have super cheap products of arguable quality. These zip ties were only $2, so I decided to try them. When they arrived I got two differnt kinds, one longer and one shorter, but nowadays you only get the shorter kind. I didnt know if these where cheap zip ties that would easily lose its grip, so I clicked one together and tried to pull it out - but I couldnt! These zip ties are a great deal, you get 100 of them for just two bucks. If you really want to save, they have a 1000 pack for 11 bucks!
