Dear God

This DVD of the movie "Dear GOD" is in color and is 112 minutes long and is rated PG. It stars Greg Kinnear who plays Tom Turner. Also included in this picture are Laurie Metcalf and Tim Conway. It has many funny scenes. Tom Turner (Greg Kinnear) is a con artist and can never resist ripping someone off. However, when he finally ends up in court, the judge gives him a choice of work or prison. He is assigned to the Post Office's Dead Letter Office. This in itself begins a whole series ofcomplicated situations. He along with some of his co-workers decide to answer some letters written to God. It is illegal to open someone's mail. . Nevertheless, they want to respond to the most urgent requests. This movie shows how people can get in real trouble when they disobey the law. I think it's interesting how many people do write to God expecting an answer especially at Christmastime. This movie will give you many laughs but also makes you very aware of human fraility. I believe this movie also confirms that crime does not pay.
