Dear Mrs. Larue :Letters From Obedience School By Rae777 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Dear Mrs. Larue :Letters From Obedience School is written and illustrated by Mark Teague. This book is aimed at children who are ages 4 to 8.

This is one of my favorite children's books. Mark Teague is a wonderful and talented illustrator. This story is about a dog named Ike who can not stay out of trouble but he feels its generally not his fault. His owner, Mrs. Larue, disagrees and sends him to the Igor Brotweiler Canine Academy obedince school to learn to behave. While staying there he writes her letters about how terrible it is there and asks to come home. He uses the letters to explain his behavior too.

This is a funny short book that children will love. I love how Mark teague illustrates the book. On one page he will draw the school from Ike's view portraying as almost a jail and on the opposite page it will be how the school actually looks which is totally opposite from how Ike is portraying it. Fun book with a colorful illustrations children will be sure to love.
