Debbie Meyer Green Boxes - Keeps food fresh

About a year ago I purchased Debbie Meyer green boxes from HSN.This is a 20 piece set of food containers made of a durable plastic that really does keep food fresh for much longer than if stored in other ways.
These containers are dishwasher safe (top rack), microwave safe, and have tightly fitting lids that keep air out.The containers I have pictured are the large boxes for holding a loaf of bread.
I was really amazed at how well these containers work.They are very strong and are easy to clean, just wash with cool water and air dry.Before I purchased these food storage containers, I had to throw food out numerous times because it spoiled before it was eaten.I hate wasting food. So when I saw these containers advertised on HSN, I decided to give them a try, and I am really glad I did.You can check them out on the HSN website and find out all the pertinent information about them, but believe me, they do work.

I''ve seen these on HSN and was skeptical of all the hype with how much longer your food will last in them. I need new containers for my leftovers so now I might give these a try thanks to your recommendation.
I'd consider trying it but is there an estimate time as to how much longer these will keep food fresh before spoiling as opposed to just regular plastic bins in the fridge?

Sounds good. I love the green bags, but they are hard to wash.
