I received this as a Christmas present from my mom. She is always finding the cutest items with Dachshunds to give me. I have a pet Dachshund and he is my pride and joy so I LOVE all these little decorative items that have Dachshunds on them. This is a figure of a Dachshund (black and tan). He is approximately 6 - 6.5 inches in length and approximately 4 inches high.

For everyday displaying he has a little "Welcome" sign that hangs from his mouth with a little bone. For Christmas he has a candy cane that can be placed in his mouth, a Santa hat and a Santa bag with bells to strap to his back. There are two small holes on either side of his mouth that allows you to place the bone pieces and the candy cane pieces to make it look as if he is holding them in his mouth.

There are a few down sides to this cute little figure. The holes are not quite large enough to place the bone or candy canes in and I had to do a little adjusting to the bones and candy canes so they would fit into the holes. Also the velcro on the Santa bag on the bottom that straps the back under the Dachshunds belly does not like to stay on. I have had to glue the velcro back onto the ribbon twice. Once while putting it on and once when taking it off. Other then those two minor things this is a very cute addition to my Dachshund collection.
