In the winter cold time my lips get very dry and cracked, I wanted a lip gloss/balm/chapstick that would help keepmy lips soft and smoot during the winter months. I purchased the Blistex Deep Renewal lip protectact. It comes in a pearl white casing and workslike a lip stick tube. It contains .13 oz of product. It also contains SPF 15 sunscreen to protect my lips from the sun as well.

The texture is a little oily when first applied but after a few minutes that oily feel goes away and yet you can still feel the softness and smoothness of your lips. There is a slight scent but nothing real detectable and there is also a slight taste but nothing that is to noticable. If you are going to be doing a lot of drinking after applying this product the product will rub off on any straws or gasses you use to drink out of. The product has a slight yellowish tint to it but will go on your lips clear with no color. You do not have to use alot of the product for it to be effective so it lasts for fairly long time. The product is also in a small tube (much like lip stick, a little smaller) so it is easy to carry around with you in a purse, handbag or in your pocket.
