Deep Woods Off

I spend a lot of time outdoors in the summer, and because we have a lot of trouble with mosquitoes and ticks in our area, I always make sure to spray on Deep Woods Off before I go out. Deep Woods Off contains 25% Deet, one of the best known insect repellants. I don't know how bad the chemical is for you, but it does work. I can get about four or five hours of protection, before I have to reapply.
I have always used the aerosol, but you can also buy this in a pump spray or towelettes.The scent is not offensive, but it doesn't have a fresh scent either.
In addition to mosquitoes, this also will repel ticks, black flies, sand flies, chiggers, fleas, gnats, and no-see-ums.
I enjoy being outdoors a lot more when bugs are not bothering me, and this does the job for me.
This is a great product, I agree. Not too sure what the" no-see-ums" are but I know they have found me many times :) Walmart is always a great store to find this item at a resonable price. I haven't ever tried the towelets but that would be very convenient for a unplanned hike. Keep these in the car!
Like Tink said, I'm not sure what a "no-see-um" is but I'm sure I wouldn't like it because I hate all bugs! Yuk! I will have to check this one out this summer. It's hard to find a bug spray that actually works.
i hate the bugs!!!! this would be a good product!!
We use this all the time. Here in the south the skeeters are really bad and in the summer you can't go out at night without it.

I'd seen this but wasn't sure if it really worked. In past years I have tried just off and found it didn't do much to keep the bugs away. Sounds like this is a big improvement. Thanks
I hate winter and snow but at least there are no bugs! This is a great solution for the summer months and those actively working out in the yard. Thanks for sharing and your recommendation!

This is the only repellent that I use. I find it works better than the others on the market.
