Definity Weight Set-can only make me stronger!
By Olin Froid onThis weight set, made be Definity, is the perfect simple set of weights to add resistance and a little edge to any workout.
I have used these to help rehab people that need resistance without heavy amounts of weight. These 3 pairs of weights range in 3, 5 and 8 pound sizes. The weights are color-coded and have the numbers written large on the side. They are stored on a simple little rack for use and storage.
I find that the weights are excellent in the style and neoprene covering. They are easy to handle, easy to use for anyone-even people with weak muscles handle these fine. I have found also that the weights clean up real easy between use.
My main complaint with these weights is the writing itself. After not too many uses, the paint that is on them starts to fade, which is okay if you use them yourself, but in some instances, where the person in mot familiar with the weights, it might be confusing to which is the proper weight.
Otherwise, these are good weights to consider for simple resistance for your exercise programs!

I have this set of weights! They are pretty colorful and I do think they have lasted through many workouts and still look new. I like the rack that comes with it because it makes it convenient. These are very comfortable to use. I love mine!
I only have one pair of 2 lb. hand weights and was looking for some in different sizes. These sound great. Can you tell me what stores carry them?
I like the different colors these come in. :-) Makes it fun to exercise.
Thanks for your honesty and information. My Ex-husband used these weights and had the same problem with the letting fading off the weights. He liked them and was able to overlook this miner detail.
This sounds like the perfect set of weights! I have a set of yellow 2 lb. hand weights and could use some a bit heavier. If the writing wears off, perhaps they could be marked with a permanent marker. Thanks for the information!
I like the fact that "weaker" people can also utilize these weights.
I'm so glad that you mentioned the fact that the writing starts to wear off....I'm with you Debbie-I think I can handle the three pounds too!!
The neoprene has to make it a lot easier to hold onto, I like that!
Thanks for sharing a great workout tool.
