Degree For Women By Karlawmcdonald By karlawmcdonald on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Before I injured my back and opened our flower shop I worked at a place for 9 long, hot, miserable years. Where I worked was indoors, but we had no heating or air conditioning, plus we had these gas flames that are about 9 feet in length that puts out some pretty intense heat. We worked 12 hour shifts, and during the summer months we have had a heat index of 125* inside of the facility.
Needless to say we sweated, alot! I still keep baby wipes for quick cool offs or clean ups, but even with that you want a deodorant that will hold up. There is nothing much worse than body odor, that is just the nastiest thing to me. I tried a lot of different deodorants but this is the only one that held up all day, everyday through all of that!
You can purchase it in stick deodorant, but the one I use is an aerosol that does not contain CFC's, which is what depletes the ozone layer.
The reason I do not use the stick version any longer is one time my underarm got very tender and sore, and the worst thought come to mind, cancer. So I go to my doctor and thankfully it was just a clogged sweat glad, he said that stick deodorants are notorious for that, so since then I have only used this aerosol type.
You can get a 6 ounce can for about $3.00 in just about any department, drug store or grocery store. 6 ounces does not sound like a lot but it will last you more than a month. They have several scents to chose from, I am sure you will find one you like.
If you are searching for a deodorant that will hold up to anything, give Degree a shot, it is heat activated. What that means is when your body heat rises or you start to sweat, Degree kicks into overdrive keeping you smelling fresh all day long.
